Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces
Unlike fully vented and vent-free gas log systems, which often can be added to an existing fireplace, direct vent systems are only available as a complete system, which includes the gas logs and the firebox. They are very safe and economical to operate while producing significant heat is most cases. Venting is often done straight out the back of the firebox, like a dryer vent might be.
